Launched June 2026.

Digital Safety Clinics are free monthly drop-in events where community members can get practical help with everyday technology challenges. Bring your phone, tablet, laptop, or questions. Our volunteers provide one-on-one assistance with privacy, security, scams, account recovery, password management, device cleanup, and other digital safety concerns.

What We’ll Cover

Digital Safety Clinics are free, two-hour monthly community events staffed by volunteer Technoactivists. The program provides accessible, one-on-one assistance to individuals who may not have the resources or confidence to address technology challenges on their own. Participants receive practical support with account security, password management, multi-factor authentication, privacy protection, scam recovery, credit freezes, device maintenance, and account recovery. By removing barriers to digital safety, the clinics help community members protect their identities, safeguard their finances, maintain access to critical online services, and build long-term confidence using technology.

IMPACT

Many face digital threats without access to trusted guidance. A compromised account, online scam, identity theft incident, or privacy concern can have lasting financial and emotional consequences.

Our Digital Safety Clinics provide free, practical support that helps community members secure their accounts, protect their personal information, recover from scams, and confidently use technology.

By connecting skilled technology volunteers with individuals who need assistance, the program reduces barriers to digital safety and strengthens community resilience.

Every clinic helps build a safer, more informed, and more digitally empowered community. Key metrics will include:

  1. Community Members Assisted

  2. Digital Safety Improvements Completed

  3. Scam and Identity Theft Recoveries Supported

  4. Participant Confidence Increase

  5. Volunteer Service Hours Contributed

We want to tell a clear story: people reached, problems solved, harm prevented, confidence built, and volunteer resources mobilized.
