Technoactivist Ethics Pledge

Effective Date: May 20, 2026

As a Technoactivist, I commit to the following principles:

  1. Do No Harm. I will use my technical knowledge and skills to protect, not exploit. I will not knowingly engage in actions that compromise the safety, privacy, or well-being of others.

  2. Respect Privacy and Consent. I will only access systems, data, or devices with clear authorization and informed consent. I will respect the confidentiality of all information entrusted to me.

  3. Act with Integrity. I will be honest, transparent, and accountable in my work. I will accurately represent my capabilities and avoid conflicts of interest that could compromise my judgment.

  4. Protect the Vulnerable. I will prioritize the safety and dignity of those I serve, especially individuals and communities at heightened risk.

  5. Follow the Law and Ethical Standards. I will comply with applicable laws and uphold widely accepted ethical standards in cybersecurity and information technology.

  6. Steward Knowledge Responsibly. I will not misuse or disclose sensitive information, tools, or vulnerabilities in ways that could cause harm.

I understand that violating this pledge may result in removal from Technoactivism and revocation of my role as a Technoactivist.
